Tetra Tech ARD, is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified senior level candidates for Chief of Party on USAID funded enhanced livelihood projects in Colombia. The Chief of Party will provide long-term technical and managerial direction over a range of social programs including: creating licit economic opportunities, strengthening public and private organizations, promoting citizen participation, supporting governance strengthening at the municipal and departmental levels to ensure good governance and improve local service delivery. The projects will focus on an integrated approach to consolidating peace, security and development gains while emphasizing immediate, short- term interventions to meet urgent economic and social needs.

Responsibilities: The COP will be responsible for leading all technical, financial and administrative aspects of the program.
— Coordinate closely with USAID in developing, implementing, and revising the project’s overall field strategy;
— The candidate must be the principal link between USAID, Tetra Tech ARD, and other partners;
— Provide overall guidance to subcontractors and grant recipients;
— Provide comprehensive expert technical oversight and guidance in all aspects of the program, including monitoring and evaluation, and reporting.

COP Qualifications:
— Advanced degree in the above mentioned technical areas or other related field.
— Minimum 10-15 years of experience managing and implementing interdisciplinary development projects related to the above mentioned technical areas.
— Experience working collaboratively with a broad range of government officials, international donors, implementing partners, and other relevant sector stakeholders.
— Demonstrated competence in leadership, client relations, and project and contract management
— Ability to work and travel in remote areas of the region to oversee program implementation and provide technical expertise.
— Demonstrated written and oral communications skills.

— S/he must be fluent in Spanish; advanced fluency in English is strongly desired.
