Its LTPR work includes land policy, land tenure (legal) reform, conflict and dispute resolution, and broadening land access including land market development, land reform and resettlement, land administration, land use planning and natural resource property rights and governance. Gender and issues related to vulnerable populations cross-cut the sector.
ARD, Inc. is recruiting experts with 5-10 years of land related experience for upcoming consultancies in Colombia. Candidates should possess demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas: alternative dispute resolution of land conflicts, addressing issues related to displaced persons, designing restitution policies and programs, promoting access to land for vulnerable groups (women, indigenous peoples, Afro-Latin Americans, etc.), or other areas related to land tenure and land administration. Experience in Colombia or other post-conflict settings preferred.
Essential Qualifications:
– Master’s degree in related field preferred;
– 5-10 years international experience with land policy, land tenure reform, property regularization, titling and registration, institutional strengthening, land markets, land use planning, conflict resolution, land information management systems, or other related work;
– Field experience in Latin America;
– Excellent oral, written, and team participation skills;
– Demonstrated ability to work in multi-disciplinary, cross-cultural and team situations;
– Speaking and reading proficiency in Spanish.
