Desired qualifications:
* Work experience: minimum 5 years in a commercial or marketing function related to one of the following areas: services, education, mining, ITC or consumer goods.
* Educational background: a university degree or equivalent in business administration, marketing or engineering.
* Fluent in written and spoken English (considered a must)
* Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook etc.)
* Having studies in Australia an advantage

Job description:
* Provide commercial advice to Australian companies wanting to export to, or invest in, Peru, Ecuador and Venezuela, including:
* Assess market potential for client’s goods and services
* Identify potential customers and key contacts in the industry
* Market research
* Develop market entry strategies and marketing plans
* Find suitable partners, agents, distributors, contractors, etc
* Make presentations on behalf of clients
* Represent clients in tender processes or projects
* Promote the region (Peru, Ecuador and Venezuela) to the Australian business community
* Promote Australian industry to the above mentioned markets (through presentations at seminars, shows, articles in newsletters, etc)
* Assist local companies to find suitable Australian suppliers
* Identify business opportunities for Australian companies
* Develop strong links with key allies in Peru and Australia
* Assist in general promotional activities promoting Australia
