Background
The UNOPS Latin America and the Caribbean Office (LCO) provides management services for projects to the provision of select services as required by our clients. Among the most commonly requested services provided are Project Management, Project Supervision and Loan Administration, and Specific Management Services in areas such as infrastructure, construction/rehabilitation and procurement.
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the operational supervision of the Administrative Officer in the Regional Office in Panama City and the technical supervision of the Team Lead ICT, Global Service Centre in Copenhagen, the Information and Communication Technology Associate is responsible for effective ICT management and support of the Latin America and the Caribbean Office and the Project and Operation Centers in the region.
The specific duties and responsibilities of the incumbent would consist of those listed below, as directed by the Administrative Officer and liaising as appropriate with the Team Lead ICT, GSC in Copenhagen:
